Literature Criticism Online (LCO) is an extensive compilation of literary criticsm delivered in an online format that matches the exact look and feel of the print originals. Provides scholarly and popular commentary from broadsheets, pamphlets, encyclopedias, books and periodicals. LCO combines all ten of Gale’s multi-volume reference sources into one cross-searchable database. Coverage spans the centuries from Classical to Contemporary, and includes every major literary genre, including poetry, drama, short stories, and children’s literature. Besides providing access to over 200,000 essays on authors and their works, LCO also provides content on more than 600 diverse topics of literary interest such as “American Transcendentalism,” “Cuban Exile Literature,” “Nineteenth Century Science Fiction,” and “Polish Romanticism.”

The MLA International Bibliography provides a subject index for books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. It is compiled by the staff of the MLA Office of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad. Available online, the MLA International Bibliography annually indexes over 66,000 books and articles.
JSTOR offers interdisciplinary content to support scholarship and teaching. It includes over one thousand leading academic journals across the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, as well as select monographs and other materials valuable for academic work. Journals are always included from volume 1, issue 1 and include previous and unrelated titles. Typically, coverage ends 3-5 years before the present date, a "moving wall" system that protects publishers from last revenue for recent articles.
