Agenda: During the library session for RHET 1000 we will: 

  • Discuss how to get help
  • Complete the RADAR Challenge in teams
  • Provide a tour of the RHET 1000 LibGuide
  • Watch the OneSearch video
  • Complete the Finding Sources activity

RADAR Challenge Instructions (In-person classes)

Play The RADAR Challenge with your partner in teams.

  • Your team will have 10 minutes to play The RADAR Challenge.

  • Designate one team member to share their screen, open the RADAR Challenge, and submit the answers​.

  • One team member will write your team name and final score on the classroom whiteboard.

Task: Compete the Finding Sources Activity (Google Form)

Individually, complete and submit the Finding Sources Activity. During the activity you will need to use the OneSearch database to find one scholarly/academic source that contains current research on your topic.
