Using government documents--a guide

Evaluating Web Resources

Often, official government websites are the best source for government documents. On occasion, though, it is necessary to look at a non-governmental source.

This page has listed several nongovernmental sources for government information.  It is important to know how to evaluate these sources to make sure that they are providing accurate, unbiased information.  See here for a good guide to evaluating websites done by the State University of New York, Albany.
