Step 1: Go to http://linus.lmu.edu/search/X
Step 2: Input the keywords for the subject you’re interested in. Because you will be searching the children’s collection, use common terms like “cows, birds” instead of advanced vocabulary like “bovines, fowl”. Also avoid using any educational theory (example: “Praxis”).
Step 3: Under the “Add Limits” section, find the Location section and scroll until you find the Curriculum Collection.
Note: You can also look for adult education books using this search box. Just remove "Curriculum Collections" from the location.
Our CMC collection is small, so sometimes we don’t have the book you’re looking for or it’s checked out. You can use our Link+ service to get the book from one of our partner libraries. It’s FREE and takes 3-5 days to arrive on our campus. You will receive an email when the book is ready.
There are 3 ways to access LINK+.
Once you've found the book you're looking for, click on the "request" button. The record will tell you how many copies are currently in the LINK+ system.
You'll be prompted to login as a Loyola Marymount University student. Then you will be asked to put in your MyLMU username and password. The final message will tell you which library the book is coming from and you will receive an email in your LION email in 3-5 business days.
