Researching Church History

In its 2000 year history, the Christian church has undergone stages of development, crisis, reform, and sometimes divisive chaos.  This guide is an attempt to pull together a group of basic resources that will help you explore and research topics regarding this history from post-Apostolic times forward.  See the list of theology-related LibGuides for additional help with specific aspects of Christian texts, liturgy, and practice.
