Library Resources in the Time of COVID-19

Use this guide to learn how to access library resources online and get virtual support with your research during the COVID-19 pandemic closure.

Renewing Library Materials

To Renew Materials Online: Library users can renew Hannon library and Link+ materials online through My Account on the library website. See also: How do I renew a book online?

  • If your items are already overdue or have been renewed too many times, please contact Circulation staff at the email or phone number below. We are happy to help you extend due dates if you will not be in the area or cannot access your books. 
  • If you have already graduated or if you have books with you that you no longer need, please consider mailing your books back if you can so that other students can access them. Please see the return instructions below.
  • Link+ items are available for a 3-week initial checkout, and up to three renewals of three weeks each, if the lending library permits.

ILLiad materials: If you have ILLiad materials, they will not appear on My Account. Sign into ILLiad and renew using these instructions. If you have any trouble, please contact for more help.


Returning Library Materials

If you would like to return your books and you are near campus, whether or not you are authorized to access campus, library book return bins are available to you. See pictures and locations here

Due to limited library staff and safety procedures, books may remain on your record a week or more after returning. You will not accrue fines for this delay. If your book is not removed from your record after that time, please feel free to contact us with any questions.
