Library Resources in the Time of COVID-19

Use this guide to learn how to access library resources online and get virtual support with your research during the COVID-19 pandemic closure.

Interlibrary Loan Requests (LINK+ and ILLiad)

Requesting Materials from Link+ Now Available

If you find a book that's not available in our library catalog, simply click on the Link+ logo next to the item you're interested in. See full instructions here.

  • Link+ materials should arrive at the library in about one week. Once the material has arrived we will contact you regarding your delivery preference.
  • If you want the material mailed to you, we will need to contact the lending library to obtain permission.
  • If you live near campus, you will be able to pick up your Link+ materials at the library. Items will be held for 10 business days, then returned to the lending library.
  • Link+ materials will be checked out to you for an initial 3 week checkout, after which they can be renewed up to 3 times for an additional 3 weeks each, if the lending library permits.

Renewing or Returning Interlibrary Loan Materials

Please check Renew / Return materials for help with renewing your materials or to see your options for returning materials.

If you have difficulties renewing your Link+ or ILLiad materials, please email libdocs@lmu.edu.
