EndNote is reference management software that can help you import, organize, and create custom bibliographic references in your own personal database. All of your citation information is located in one place and can be added to your research as you write using the "Cite While You Write" tool. Think of it as an easy way to create citations without remembering all the citations styles!
Many databases in the LMU library have export options that work with EndNote with just one easy click!
EndNote has two versions: a free web version called EndNote Basic and a desktop version called EndNote X9. Both versions do basics of citations including importing references, sharing references with private groups, and sending references directly from the library's databases.
