Find Scripts in the Library

Our  Screenplay Collection:
There are approximately 1000 screenplays, including all the published ones in the Main Stacks and the online versions in the American Film Scripts Online database.  We also have a collection of photocopied scripts, from well known films as well as LMU School of Film theses.

LMU School of  Film and TV student theses and a collection of photocopied screenplays on Reserve.
Our photocopied script collection (both film and television) is to be used in the library only.  The checkout period for these scripts is 3 hours.


To  Search For a Screenplay:

Search by Subject:  Motion picture plays or Television Scripts

All screenplays are arranged alphabetically by title. Find the title you want and click on it for the location.

If you know the specific title:

Search by film title or screenplay author:

The screenplay is indicated by the words Motion Picture in parenthesis or screenplay after the title. For example:

Graduate (Motion picture) : Henry, Buck; Reserves-Circulation Desk: Available  

The graduate : screenplay : Henry, Buck; Rrserves - Circulation Desk: Available 

 

For Published Screenplays, the location will say Main Stacks or Basement Storage:
