NOTE: East-West Symposium

The Huffington Ecumenical Institute sponsored an engaging two-day Symposium:

Women and Church, East and West:
a Catholic-Orthodox Conversation

The program included stellar guest speakers and LMU faculty, as well as both Orthodox and Catholic LMU students in dialogue, covering a wide area of concerns.

The five sessions, and other HEI programs, are now available as downloadable videos from the HEI Web site.

Modern Greek Studies

The Modern Greek Studies program at LMU includes a wide variety of topic areas, from Byzantine history to Modern Greek poetry, from Greek language to folk dance.  This guide is an appetizer, giving you some idea of the variety of materials available at and through the Library to support studies in these areas.

Click on a tab, and see what might help you.  Feel free to stop in the Library and ask questions -- or contact a Reference librarian by phone, e-mail or instant messaging.  Remember, we're here to help!
