Research Help

Research help is always available, both online and in person! There are a number of ways to reach out to our friendly and knowledgeable reference librarians, both online and in person!

Phone - Immediate research assistance is available by calling 310.338.2790 during our service hours

Online chat - Virtual research assistance is available 24/7!

Drop-in research assistance - Your student may visit the Information Desk on the first floor of the library, which is available during our service hours, for immediate, drop-in research assistance

Individual or group research help - For personalized, in-depth research help, fill out a research consultation request form and the library will assign a subject liaison to aid your student in his or her research.

Archives & Special Collections - Your student is encouraged to make use of these collections to bring a rich context to your student's academic work and provide hands-on use of these unique, primary source materials. Use of materials is by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 310.338.5710 or email Special.Collections@lmu.edu.
