Wikipedia is much better than a Google search when trying to find authoritative online sources. Instead of pages and pages of search results, Wikipedia articles have a list of references at the end of each article and these references should represent a collection of good, freely available web resources. Find the references that link to open source academic journals, books, think tanks, government data, and other types of acceptable online sources that can be used in academic research papers and projects.
